Radio Fiji One is one of the most popular 24 hour radio stations in Fiji. It broadcasts in Fijian language.

A Rich History:

It was founded in July 1st, 1954 by Domoiviti, making it one of the oldest radio station in FIji. It started many years ago and has grown a lot since then.  Like many other popular radio stations, Fiji One is also owned by Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, which has a history dating back to 1935.

The radio broadcasts in the iTaukei language, also known as Fijian. It’s a public service broadcaster, meaning it’s funded by the public to serve the people of Fiji.

Today, the most popular form of enjoying the radio is online. Listeners from across the globe can access the radio online.

Also, the radio broadcasts on 93 MHz FM, reaching cities such as Suva, Navua, Nausori, Labasa, Savusavu, Nadi, Denarau, Mamanuca, and Lautoka.
It also operates on 92.8 MHz for towns along the Coral Coast and Ba.

Clearly, the radio has a very big offline presence too. It can be heard by almost everyone in Fiji, covering 95% of the population.
