Back in 2010, a bunch of devoted Albanian music lovers came together to create Radio Shqip. Their mission? To share their love for music with the world. They started this project as a hobby, using their own collection of Albanian music records and CDs. What started small quickly grew big, as listeners tuned in to enjoy classic and contemporary Albanian tunes, along with the friendly vibes of the hosts.

With the motto “Muzikë e zgjedhur Shqiptare,” which means “Selected Albanian Music” in Albanian, RadioShqip offers a range of programs to match different tastes and moods:
- Radio Shqip Morning: Rise and shine! From 6 am to 10 am, DJ Ardi spins the best Albanian hits, giving you a musical morning boost. He adds fun facts and stories about each song and even takes requests to make someone’s day extra special.
- Radio Shqip Top 10: Fridays are for the latest and greatest. DJ Eri hosts this weekly program from 8 pm to 10 pm, counting down the hottest Albanian songs based on listeners’ votes. Tune in to discover what’s making waves!
- Radio Shqip Live: On the last Saturday of each month, from 10 pm to 12 am, DJ Ledi turns the studio into a live concert. Talented Albanian artists perform and share their stories, while listeners can call in to chat or give feedback.
- Radio Shqip Weekend: Saturdays and Sundays, from 12 pm to 6 pm, DJ Rina brings the weekend vibes. From old-school folk to modern pop, she’s got a mix that’ll keep your feet tapping.
